Signing of the Vietnam Peace Accord, January 27, 1973The Frisco VFW Post 8273 Flag Squad posted and recovered 50 American flags and VFW flags on January 27, 2024, along Main Street in downtown Frisco in recognition of the anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam Peace Accord in 1973.
Pearl Harbor Day, December 7, 1941
To commemorate and educate area youth about Pearl Harbor Day the Frisco VFW Post 8273 had a booth at the Frisco Merry Main Street celebration. Pearl Harbor Day coloring sheets were presented to youth who stopped by the booth.
Annual Memorial Day Ceremony
The VFW Post 8273 has partnered with the Frisco Garden Club since 1994 to conduct the annual Memorial Day Ceremony. In partnership with American Legion Post 178, the City of Frisco, and the Garden Club the Memorial Day Ceremony was held on May 29, 2023, at the Frisco Veterans Memorial in Frisco, Texas.
