Born June 15, 1947, in Poth, Wilson County, Texas.  At the age of seventeen he enlisted in the US Navy and served for four years.  He was a Lifetime Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.  He died December 10, 2022, at the age of 75 years old, in Galveston, Texas.
